Robert Cohen lived with his family in California. In 1970 they came here to visit me. Their visit coincided with a family business affair they had to solve in Barcelona. He came with his wife, Chris, and his children Robert and Elizabeth. He wanted me to meet them.
They enjoyed their three-day visit. It seemed to me they wanted to keep something of my own; but something personal, not a purchase. Thinking of them and of a long and pleasant conversation that we had about families, I decided to reflect their idea of family union.
That was my gift to the married couple. (Robert died in 2001)
