I have visited and been to many cities. During my second stay in Lagos, Nigeria, I met an artisan sculptor, a genuine artist. He worked on tin-bronze alloy with his cutters and hammers. I spent many hours with him, and he gave me one of his works for which I have a great esteem.
In that strange world for me, art also flourishes.
It is known that the great painter Joan Miró worked as a youth in the company “Establecimientos Dalmau Oliveres, S.A.” of Barcelona. In 1971 I had to visit the company twice a week to do some assessment work.
At the company, to do my job, I was given the place, desk and chair where many years ago the great Joan Miró had been sitting. I always wished that he would transmit me an aura of his art. But I don’t think he left it at his chair and table where undoubtedly he drew something.
